PACSU condoles 

Pungro, January 8 (MExN): The Pungro Area College Students' Union has expressed shock over the untimely demise of its former president T Cherimong at Oking Hospital Kohima on January 8. 

“The union deeply regret the loss of one of its tall leader who have immensely contributed and rendered his priceless service for the welfare of students' community and upliftment of society in general,” a condolence note from the union stated. 

Late Cherimong was also PACSU Assembly Secretary from 2002-2005 and Silver Jubilee Planning Member (2019- till date).

The people of Pungro Area have lost a great soul and towering personality and the void left by Late Cherimong’s demise cannot be filled by anyone and shall be ever remembered with great honour, the PACSU added.  

The Union prayed for the heavenly peace and strength to the bereaving family and wished the departed soul an eternal rest in peace.
