Dy CM Y Patton inspected PHC Chukitong and JNV School Chukitong quarantine ward to oversee the preparedness for COVID-19 under Wokha district on April 17.

Wokha, April 17 (MExN): The Nagaland Dy CM Y Patton inspected PHC Chukitong and JNV School Chukitong quarantine ward to oversee the preparedness for COVID-19 under Wokha district on April 17.

The Dy CM Media Cell in a press release stated that Patton interacted with Dr Aben Murry, MO and staffs of PHC Chukitong and took a firsthand report and feedbacks. He expressed satisfaction with the frontline workers, especially of the district administration, police, medical department and those engaged in relief works.

The Dy CM visited JNV School Chukitong quarantine ward and made special mention of the measures taken by the Principal, JNV Chukitong, Pankaj O Deshmukh, for providing a 24 bedded quarantine ward in his school for COVID-19 emergencies.

Later, Patton also distributed 1st phase of essential commodities and food grains to 37 A/C, keeping in mind the guidelines of Wokha district administration four hours window restricted shopping time from 6:00am- 10:00am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The distribution was done in the presence of Orenthung Lotha DC Wokha, Imtitoshi SP, Dr Wothungo Tungoe CMO, Yanthungo Kikon President BJP Wokha, district party officials and 37th A/C party officials.
