KOHIMA, APRIL 9 (MExN): Legislators of the ruling People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) in Nagaland have decided to contribute 30 percent of their monthly salary starting April 2020 for the next one year to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund).
This was informed in a press release from the Secretary, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Dr PJ Antony.
This contribution is besides the one month’s salary that all MLAs of the State have already contributed to the Medical Department of the State in March for supporting the Government of Nagaland in dealing with the COVID-19 situation.
