DIMAPUR, APRIL 25 (MExN): In view of the holy month of ‘Ramzan’ beginning from April 24, Muslim Council Dimapur has appealed to the Muslim community to see that nobody or groups attempts ‘Namaz-e-Taraweeh’ or organize it in any rooftops, parking or apartments.
In a press release, the MCD said ‘Taraweeh Namaz’ can be performed individually in one’s respective house during the holy month of Ramzan, keeping in mind the importance of social distancing.
It also requested all to pray for every human being during this month so that the Almighty can shower his blessings to save everyone.
Meanwhile, it thanked all the Jame Masjid and Pangagana (temporary) masjid committees of Dimapur for strictly abiding with the appeal of MCD to keep all the prayer houses closed from March 22 till date and hoped that this would continue till the Government announces the opening of prayer places.
