He further maintained the state government has requested the Fifteenth Finance Commission as well as the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for funding of the Trans Highway.

Minister, Planning & Co-ordination, Neiba Kronu said that the PDA government’s priority was the improvement of roads after seeing and experiencing the acute state of negligence and the hardship faced by the public.

He further assured that people will have a reasonable standard road infrastructure which is in progress.

“Proper instruction and agreement have been signed with the PWD as well as the contractors for the maintenance of the road for 3 years,” Kronu added.
