A four-hour documentary about Princess Diana will air in America on the 20th anniversary of the royal's death. The film, a two-part TV event collaboration between network executives at ABC and People magazine bosses, will feature interviews with Diana experts, friends and footage of the Princess, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She died in a car crash in Paris, France on 31 August, 1997, aged 36. "Princess Diana has appeared on the cover of People 57 times - more than anyone in the history of the magazine," People Editor-in-Chief Jess Cagle said in a statement. "Our audience has an insatiable appetite for news about the royal family; in fact, they are just as fascinated today as they were when Lady Diana was first introduced to the world back in 1981."
