Kohima, January 12 (MExN): In order to ease traffic congestion in the state capital, Kohima Superintendent of Police has issued an order regulating movement of heavy vehicles within the town limits, effective immediately. In an order issued on Tuesday, the Kohima SP has notified that movement of heavy vehicles within Kohima town will be restricted from 8: 00 am to 6:00 pm, till further orders. Accordingly, entry of heavy vehicles from Manipur side will be restricted from Khuzama Police Check gate from 8:00 am till 8:00pm daily and from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm at Chaprü, for those coming from Dimapur side. Entry of heavy vehicles into Kohima town will be restricted from the by-pass traffic police booth from 8:00 am till 6:00 pm, the SP’s order stated.
