Retail pharmacies directed to collect information

Kohima, April 24 (MExN): The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Principal Director, Dr Vizolei Z Soukhrie in an order issued on April 24 stated that the government would like to have records and monitor person buying medicines for fever and cough in order to up-scale our surveillance. Therefore, all retail pharmacies are directed to collect information as per the prescribed format and send through the whatsapp numbers against the respective districts.

“It is understood that this will entail a little bit of more work on the retail prharmacies. However, in this ordinary times, we need to up-scale our surveillance and thus, cooperation is sought from all,” the Principal Director stated.
