Rise above all negativities, JD (U) calls on political parties, CSOs

Dimapur, April 15 (MExN): The Janata Dal (U) Nagaland today said that it was “unfortunate that the Nagaland Government is somewhat caught unprepared” in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic and called on all political and social organisations to “rise above all levels of negativities and put heads together to overcome the present crisis.”

“All hearts must be filled with intention to solve the issue at hand and leave the irregularities and shortcomings aftermath the pandemic. There should be no qualm to penalise those guilty if anyone is found to be ‘fishing over trouble waters' but that can wait for now,” a statement from the JD (U) Nagaland’s Publicity Wing.

Further, JD (U) Nagaland appealed to all to empathise with COVID19 Frontline workers in whatever manner possible. It also requested the public to “hate the disease not the infected people,” and be on their guards during the imposition of the lockdown in their respective villages, colonies and localities. “Stay home patiently, contribute whatever is possible to ameliorate the suffering of affected poor and downtrodden people,” it said.
