MLA Dr Chotisuh Sazo paid a second round of visit to Chetheba, Chozuba and Pfutsero town under Phek district on April 20 last to ascertain the ground reality from the administrations and frontline workers on all round preparations in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
In Chetheba town, he interacted with the Administration, Healthcare workers, Police, Paramilitary, GBs and public leaders.
In Chozuba, he met ADC, AMO, CRPO, GBs and others at ADC office and later inspected Foodgrains store, quarantine facility at Old Boy's Hostel and Isolation ward at Chozuba Community Health Centre.
He also interacted with ADC and others at Pfutsero town.
During his visit, Dr. Sazo enquired about the latest status of preparedness, position of foodgrains distribution, water supply, availability of vegetables and essential commodities in the market, policing, availability of medicine, safety gears, quarantine and isolation facility.
After giving patient hearing to all reports, Dr. Sazo expressed gratitude to all the frontline workers like administration, healthcare providers, police, public leaders and youth volunteers for selflessly sacrificing their comfort and risking their lives for the sake of the people despite extreme limitations of fund, infrastructure, safety equipments, utilities, manpower and other logistics faced by them.
Taking note of the grievances and requirements, he assured to take the matter to the appropriate authority for redressal of the same.
He also stressed on the need to provide proper protection gears to doctors, health workers, administrative officers, DBs & GBs, public leaders, police officers and their jawans who are sincerely performing their duties.
Further, he sought cooperation from each and every individual to fight against COVID -19 pandemic.
