Scholars Super 30: Free coaching for IIT-JEE aspirants launched

In a first of its kind in the North East Region, a free coaching programme for IIT-JEE aspirants was launched by CSAR Learning Solutions Private Limited.

In the first phase, the ‘Scholars Super 30’ programme will cover three NE states including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland through its subsidiary ‘Scholars India’.

The free coaching programme will function at TKC Complex, Tezpur, with an initial intake of 30 students each from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland.

Dr YS Parmar (PhD in Physics from IIT Kanpur) will be the chief mentor of the coaching programme.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, director, Scholars, Sanjay K Singh, said Scholars Super 30 is a highly ambitious and innovative free coaching programme, spanning 11-15 months, for deserving meritorious students to prepare them for “sure success in IIT-JEE.”

The director said the campus for the free coaching is located at Goroimari (near Airforce station, Tezpur), and would be managed by TKC Auberge, a popular name in managing hostel services.

Singh said for Nagaland state, the entrance test for selection of the 30 candidates would be held on March 20 next. He said meritorious students would be selected through a written test followed by personal interview.

Written test will consist of objective type questions and students appearing or those who have appeared in Class X, XI and XII exams are eligible to apply.

Students can register both offline and online by paying Rs 100 only as registration fee.

Further, syllabus and sample papers for the selection test can be downloaded from www.scholarsindia.co.in.

Selected students would have to bear only food and lodging expenses as the coaching is free. Further, it was informed that arrangements have been made for students who want to simultaneously attend regular classes (academic career) and the free coaching programme.
