IMPHAL, September 23 (NNN): The Imphal East District Magistrate has clamped prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC in the area under the revenue jurisdiction of Imphal East with effect from 6:00 am of September 23 for a period of two months. Issued by District Magistrate Th. Chitra Devi, the order prohibits assembly of five or more people, which are likely to turn unlawful, and the carrying of firearms, sticks, stones, weapons or objects of any description that can be used as offensive weapons
