Dimapur, September 23 (MExN): St. Joseph Higher Secondary School (SJHSS), Chumukedima kicked off its 19th Annual Games and Sports meet 2017 with the Director, Youth Resources and Sports (YR&S) Linda Solo as the chief guest. A press release stated that Solo in her address emphasized on the great career opportunity that sports offers. Citing the examples of Naga athletes, who won medals at the international level, Solo encouraged the students to work on their talents so that one day they would also make it big at the international level. While underscoring sports as pivotal in promoting physical fitness and social skills, she added that the students should also not neglect their studies as without education life could be rather incomplete. The sports meet will culminate on September 27.
