Expressing concern over COVID-19 pandemic, MLA Kuzholiizo (Azo) Nienu maintained that “Staying home is staying safe.”

 


“At this most difficult time, we should not have space and room for criticism but to give our fullest support and cooperation to the government of the day in order to defeat the COVID-19,” Azo stated.

 


Azo, an elected representative from 19 Phek Assembly Constituency, thanked the administration, police, health workers and all those behind the scenes who are working tirelessly to keep the people safe from the virus.

 


“My heartfelt gratitude also goes to the prayer warriors who are praying unceasingly for days and months to God Almighty to shield our people from the virus,” he added.

 


Further, Azo appealed everyone to obey the authorities and follow the instructions of the government.
