Dimapur, January 18 (MExN): In an effort to spread the message of love and communal harmony, Army Public School, Rangapahar organized a walkathon on January 18, 2014. The walkathon was flagged off from TCP One, Rangapahar by Major General Deepak Saxena, VSM, in which 113 students along with their teachers took part. The message of love and communal harmony was spread by the students using placards, banners, slogans and songs. The songs of patriotism enthralled the civilian populace all along the route from Rangapahar Military Station to Kashiram Basti, Maple Tree School, Dimapur Sub Jail, Tinali Market T Junction and back to Rangapahar. The event was witnessed and appreciated by residents of the area who were jubilant at the initiative taken by the budding leaders of the country, stated a press release.
