Training on COVID-19 held in Jakhama, Tseminyu and Chiephobozou blocks

Kohima, April 23 (MExN): Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Kohima along with District Health Society, NHM conducted training on COVID-19 at Jakhama block, Tseminyu block and Chiephobozou block on April 23.
A press statement from Chief Medical Office, Kohima stated the participants were trained on the origin, transmission, prevention, control measures, medical care, supportive environment, safe practices like frequently hand-washing, social distancing, use of mask, avoiding of public places etc.
The participants were also shown demonstration of PPE Personal Protection Equipments (PPEs) with important management of used mask and gloves disposal. Jakhama block had participants of 40.
The same chain of training was also carried out at Tseminyu block where DPO (RCH/UIP) Dr. Rupert Peseyie was the resource person with participants of 35 while Chiephobozou block training was disseminated under Mobile Medical Unit, Kohima (MO) Dr Ruyangulie Paphino. 30 participants from Chiephobozou attended the training.
