Tuensang, January 7 (MExN): The Tuensang District Planning and Development Board has cleared its agenda for January including the work distribution for the upcoming Republic Day programme during its monthly meeting on January 7.
According to updates from the state DIPR, the meeting which was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall was chaired by DC Kumar Ramnikant, who is also the vice chairperson of the board.
As per the DIPR, the meeting deliberated on the status of old bridges under NH 202, relocation of 500KV transformer at new Tsaru village to a more feasible location and upgradation of the transformer.
On the matter of registration of the Eastern Nagaland Agri & Allied Farmers Association, it was decided that the board would seek a nod from the ENPO as well as the agriculture and other allied departments from the other districts before the matter is forwarded to the government.
