Dimapur, April 27 (MExN): Eighty Zeliangrong Artists/Singers from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland participated in an online contest for the ‘Zeliangrongpui Song of the Year 2019.’ The contest which is based on YouTube views and likes will see the contestant with the highest number of views and likes winning the title.
According to a press release from the founder of Zeliangrong Naga Song Promotion, the final round for the contest is underway on the Zeliangrong Naga Song Promotion YouTube Channel.
Three finalists: Kenlumyile – Zeme; Liwang Chawang – Liangmai and Thanchuilu Gangmei – Rongmei emerged from the preliminary round which was opened by Leader of Opposition TR Zeliang, the release said.
The contest duration is open from April 24 to May 3, it added.
The release stated that the contest was initiated to promote Zeliangrong music and artists of all genres on a bigger platform.
The Zeliangrong Naga Song Promotion was formed on August 8, 2019, it said.
