Zunheboto, January 29 (MExN): The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) office Zunheboto has notified that, Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) for 2021 has been scheduled from January 31 to February 2.
All parents have been requested to bring their children (new born to 5 years of age) to the Polio Booth at their respective colony to receive two drops of Oral Polio Vaccine on January 31morning.
Booth time starts at 8:00 am, the CMO office notified.
In case any child misses the polio drops on the Booth Day, parents have been advised to ensure the child stays home to receive the drops on February 1 and 2 as the Polio Teams would make house to house visit to administer the drops.
It further informed that there are 233 IPPI booths in total in Zunheboto district under which beneficiaries from 0-5 years are 8495 in number.
