Mokokchung, March 4 (DIPR): An Agri link road (Jenangsanger Nangnong) at Ungma village was inaugurated by Deputy Speaker, NLA, Imtikumzuk on March 4. The link road which is around 4 KM was constructed under the initiative of the Deputy Speaker himself, which he said, was constructed focusing on economic development.
Imtikumzuk said that since the village is near the town, the new link road would serve easy access for the farmers to supply their farm produce to the market easily. This would benefit both the farmers and the consumers. He also urged the people to focus on cash crops cultivation rather than practicing the aged old Jhum Cultivation saying that concentrating on cash crops farming would definitely bring economic development in the state.
