Medziphem, February 11 (MExN): 41 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised an interaction with GBs and local organisation heads in Medziphema on February 10. The aim of the meeting, according to a press release from Assam Rifles, was to spread awareness about civic assistance and job opportunities for youths and locals of the region. The event was attended by representatives from various village councils and youths of the region. They pledged to work together towards development and maintaining peace, law and order in the region, the release said. The participants also expressed gratitude for conducting the “informative” interaction programme, the AR informed.
