Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): The Dimapur Battalion of Assam Rifles has arrested one person for possession of contraband drugs on January 15.
According to an update from the HQ IGAR (N) on Tuesday, based on specific inputs regarding presence of an individual dealing in contraband drugs in general area Burma camp, an operation was launched along with Police representatives, during the arrested was made. The person, identified as Nilo Swu was apprehended along with 2,700 SP capsules, 400 Nitrosum tablets and cash of rupees one lakh.
The individual was handed over to East Police Station Dimapur, Nagaland along with recovered drugs for further investigation, the update stated.
