Chiephobozou, September 30 (MExN): The monthly coordination meeting of Chiephobozou subdivision was held at the DB’s Court, Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), on September 30, focusing on preparations for the District Census Handbook (DCHB) under Census 2027.
Chairing the meeting, ADC and Sub-Divisional Census Officer Vekusheyi Rhakho said the appointed field functionaries would be required to collect relevant data and information from various departments for preparation of the DCHB.
According to the State DIPR, during the meeting, the ADC stressed that departmental information should be provided separately for villages and towns and urged the field functionaries to ensure that entries were based on accurate facts and figures, noting that the handbook would serve as a reference for future planning.
The meeting also reviewed the instruction manual for the Village Directory. Village functionaries interacted with the officials and sought clarifications on the preparation and collection of information.
The queries were addressed by Assistant Director, Census Office Kohima, Chuyalo Kath; Viketoulie Metha NCS, EAC Chiephobozou; and Census Office Kohima officials T Tsikingmong, Senior Executive, and Kuraktsang K Junior Executive.
The meeting was attended by heads of offices in Chiephobozou, appointed field functionaries from Chiephobozou Urban and Rural areas, Botsa Charge institutions and town councillors.
