Dimapur, January 31 (MExN): A forest fire in Mt Japfu, which “probably started” on January 30 evening is reported to have “burnt the vegetation in and around the peak” and has continued to spread. The Divisional Forest Officer, Kohima Division informed that monitoring teams observed “the forests on south-western part of Mt Japfu were burning intensely till late Friday evening.”
