
Our Correspondent Kohima | May 2 The second day of the CAPF Under-19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament witnessed a goals galore as 32 goals were scored from the 6 matches played here on Tuesday. In girls category played at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Sweet Poison Club, IG Academy drubbed Christ King Higher Secondary School Kohima 8-0. Agheli grabbed a hat-trick scoring in the 33rd, 38th and 40th minute while Vizovono got a brace scoring in the 6th and 14th minute. Akhala, Neichulo-u and Mhasikhono contributed a goal each in 3rd, 4th and 12 minute respectively. A match between KV Dimapur and Bayavu Hill High School, Kohima ended in a scoreless draw. In another match of the day, Girls Sports Hostel Dimapur downed Govt High School, Khonoma 2-0. Watijungla and Seyiekhrieno netted a goal each in the 28th and 57th minute respectively. In the boy’s event played at the Kohima Local Ground, State Boys Hostel, Nagaland thrashed KV Rangapahar 4-0. Niuka scored two goals for State Boys Hostel while Apongthung and Chalvin grabbed a goal each. In another match, State Sports Academy overwhelmed KV Kohima 9-0. Kakhevi fetched a hat-trick for State Sports Academy while Purakam and Kitho both scored braces. Nighato and Vinoka also contributed a goal each. Four goals from Nikedozo helped SAI, STC, Dimapur cruise to a thumping 9-0 win over Don Bosco. The goal scorers for SAI includes Thaihan Difosa (5th minute), Nikedozo (11th, 24th, 55th and 58th minute), Temsunungsang (48th minute), Yekivi Swu (59th minute), Huvesu Tetseo (78th minute) and Hangoulentuboi ( 80th minute).
