Kohima, April 2 (MExN): The Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) Soul Ignite VIII camp held for the Youth and Jr. CYE at Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC), Tsiesema Basa under the theme, “...be a model of good works” (Titus 2:7)  from March 28 to 31 last.

A press release from Koinonia Media Ministry informed that 201 campers and officials attended the camp. “The campers committed their lives to Jesus Christ and received blessings of healing, deliverance and breakthrough,” it stated. 

The speakers were Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Founder Pastor KBC and Principal Kohima Bible College; Medotseilieü, Pastor KBC, Neibalie Pastor KBC and H Rokopra Mekro Pastor Koinonia Prayer Centre, Menuosielie Üsou, Asst Pastor and Zashekho Hibo, Asst Pastor.

It informed that Ketoukholie Semou, Evangelist KBC was the Camp Director and Pelekhotuo Rüvieo, Evangelist was the Assistant Camp Director while praise and worship was led by Evangelist Asi Meyase and team. Biblical Quiz and Counselling was conducted by Ruokuotuo, Evangelist.

While the campers were divided into three groups, namely ‘Proates-Gentleness’, ‘Chara- Joy’, ‘Elpis- Hope’ and ‘Eirene- Peace.

Topics included sins and its consequences;  repentance and salvation; faith; living or dead faith; culture of honor; prayer/dawn prayer and fasting; discipleship; biblical concept on Christian; present issues- Satanism, gaming, music, tattoos, LGBTQ+; soul winning ministries; deliverance & healing ministries; giving-tithes and offerings;  holy spirit; power, gifts, fruits and role and second coming of Christ.

Best campers were awarded to the following - Elpis (hope): Tovishe Achumi and Menuoneiü Kengurüse; Proates (Gentleness) Thashalo Kathand Catherine Syiemiong; Eirene (Peace) Sentiwapang Ozükum and Metsonu Pusa; Chara (joy) Seyievizo Seyie and Vitsino Ltu.
