DC Dimapur convenes meeting of DDMA In view of the Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) scheduled to be held on April 26, Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel (IAS) has called for an emergency meeting of Dimapur District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on April 23. The meeting will be held at the DC’s conference hall at 11:00 am. All concerned have been requested to attend the meeting. Nagaland VDB, village council conference Coinciding with ‘Gram Swaraj Abhiyan’, a state level conference of the Village Development Board (VDBs) and village councils will take place on April 24 at NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima at 10:00 am. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will be the main speaker, while Rural Development advisor Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire will be the keynote speaker. The conference will be chaired by Lhoubeilatuo Kire, IFS, Principal Secretary, Rural Development. Thematic session has been scheduled at 1:00 pm. NSSATA emergency meeting Nagaland Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers’ Association (NSSATA) has called for an emergency meeting on April 24, 11:00 am at The Hut Restaurant, opposite Post Office, Kohima. Therefore, all the NSSATA district presidents and general secretaries have been requested to attend the meeting without fail, along with 5 members each from their respective districts. The units are also reminded to collect all membership fees which are due and submit at the meeting, stated NSSATA in a press release.
