The venture of the Naga leaders headed by Gaidon Kamei, former president of the United Naga Council (UNC), held a series of meetings with those people living along the Imphal-Jiribam road today.

“To allay the apprehension of the drivers and returnees we are mobilizing people living along the Imphal-Jiribam road to extend maximum supports to the transporters. We heard the occurrence of some stray incidents in this highway which had happened due to misunderstanding. It is very unfortunate. We are mobilising along the Imphal-Jiribam road now so that such incidents do not occur again,” said Gaidon Kamei.
