The Department of Agriculture today organised a farewell programme in honour of the two outgoing officers at the conference hall in the Directorate of Agriculture.
The outgoing officers were Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) T Mhabemo Yanthan, IAS and K Remphamo Lotha Additional Director of Agriculture.
Speaking in the programme, Agriculture advisor Mhathung Yanthan, extended appreciation to the outgoing officers for their services rendered to the department. He also urged upon them to continue to contribute towards the society even after their retirement by utilising their knowledge and experiences that has gain during their services. Further Yanthan also encouraged the staffs and officers to seek cooperation and to uphold team work for improvement of department.
While congratulating the outgoing officers Director Agriculture M Ben Yanthan in his short speeches he also lauded for their unwavering contribution and services to the department and particularly to the farming community. During the programme, speeches were also delivered by the two outgoing retired officers.
While short speeches on behalf of the Mission, Agri & allied department and Agriculture department was delivered by Dr Kruolalie Tsurho Team leader of NBRM, Director of Horticulture Meyasashi and Joint secretary Agriculture Khonthungo Lotha.
