5 days Faculty Dev Prog at NU The Department of Teacher Education and Department of Education, Nagaland University will be jointly organizing 5 Days Faculty Development Programme on ‘Nai Talim, Work Education, Experiential Learning and Community Engagement’ at Nagaland University (NU), Kohima Campus, Meriema, on November 26. A press release from Department of Education, NU stated that Professor Pardeshi Lal, Vice-chancellor of NU will grace the programme as Chief Guest. Professor Ramesh Chandra Gupta, PVC Kohima Campus NU will be Guest of Honor. Teacher Educators from various colleges of Teacher Education affiliated to NU, educationist, scholars from all over Nagaland will participate in the programme.   Seminar under BBBP on Nov 29 A seminar on ‘Empowerment through Employment Opportunities’ under the initiative of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao 2018 will be held on November 29, 10:00 am at Town Hall, Wokha. EAC, Wokha, Tumben P Tsanglao has informed that the seminar will be held in collaboration with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, Skill India, National Skill Development Corporation and PMKVY as training partners. There will be consultancies for training and placement on hospitality, aviation, food catering, beautification, make-up artists and stylists.   ENSF 2nd Federal Assembly on Nov 30 Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has informed all its officials, federating units that the 2nd Federal Assembly 2017-2020 will be held on November 30 at Tuensang HQ. In this regard, ENSF Speaker, Apong Yimchunger and Assembly Secretary Nokchem Angh have directed all the officials of ENSF and federating units to attend the Federal Assembly. Officials have been asked to submit “genuine agendas” to the Speaker on or before November 28.
