Rev Y Chingang Konyak condoles demise of Khrieleno Terhuja

Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): Rev Y Chingang Konyak, Rtd Pastor and Konyak Bible Translator has conveyed condolences on the demise of “a remarkable friend” Khrieleno Terhuja, who had passed away after a protracted illness at CIHSR on March 5 night. “I’ve had the privilege to work with Leno in Bible translations through the Bible Society of India, and since the early 70s, often crossed paths in our association with the CBCNEI, NBCC, and other Church ministries. I've always been grateful for the trustworthy person she was and for all her contributions to our church and society,” Rev Y Chingang stated while conveying condolences to Leno’s family and relatives.

TSUD mourns

Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has mourned the demise of Khrieleno Terhüja, former Principal of Christian Higher Secondary School who passed away on Tuesday night.  Besides holding different positions in several organisations, she was also the former President of the council of Baptist Churches in North East India and former president of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council who always work for the upliftment of the society. “Her visionary works and contribution towards the upliftment of the people will be deeply cherished and remembered,” TSUD said in its condolence message. The Union also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.

61st Lirmen Senso Mongdang

Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): Lirmen Senso Mongdang (LSM) has convened its 61st meet on March 8 and 9 starting 10:00 am at the community hall, Lirmen village. According to LSM President, T Medem, and Secretary, S Ayangba Walling, the two-day meet will be held on the theme “Telongjem Aser Terenlok” (Unity and Progress) wherein T Sosang Longchar (IFS Retd), will exhort the gatherings on the first day of the meet. Other agendas to be discussed included general report of LSM, audit and constitution reports, and fund-raise committee report. In the afternoon session, handing and taking over of the files from the old office bearers to the newly elected office bearers will be held.

LJP (RV) Nagaland State meeting

Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): The LJP (RV) Nagaland State Unit Working President & Chairman State Parliamentary Board, Viloto Pukhato has called an emergency meeting on March 8 at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur at 10:00 am. Pukhato in a press release stated that the party has “summoned” all its State Executive members, MLAs, Sub-unit Presidents, State youth President, Mahila Presidents, Minority Presidents and all the Unit President to attend this crucial and utmost important meeting to discuss the upcoming Lok Sabha as well as the ULB election and urge all the party rank and files to attend the meeting without fail to discuss our standpoint in the upcoming elections.

NFHRCC informs

Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): The Nagaland Foothill Roads Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) has requested the seven PWD (R&B) Divisional Executive Engineers (EEs) to “provide the updated status of motorable foothills road project at the Saturday (09/03/24) coordination meet to be held at the NFHRCC base Office, Kher Mahal, Dimapur.” NFHRCC in a press release said that as agreed upon during last coordination meeting held last year that all contractors must complete the motorable road project by December 2023, the “updated report of the same is required for further validation of the project.” Further, the Contractors of Tuli and Mangkolemba Divisions have been requested to attend the coordination meeting positively.
