Kohima, May 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Chess Association (NCA) has informed all the chess players intending to participate in the 16th Nagaland Chess Championship that the last date of registration is May 22. The Nagaland Chess Championship is scheduled to be held from May 23 to 26. According to a press release, registration can be done at Scholar Book House, near NST, Kohima. The registration fee for General Category is Rs. 1000 and Rs. 600 for Under-17 category. Registrations will be accepted till 10:00 am of May 23 with late fine of Rs. 100 per player, the NCA informed. Cash prizes will be awarded up to the 10th position holder in the general category while in the Under-17 category, cash prizes will be awarded to the first three position holders.
