Meanwhile, Nagaland’s Urban Development & Municipal Affairs Advisor Zhaleo Rio said the PDA consensus candidate is supported by 60 members of the 14th NLA while eight political parties including those from independents have extended their support.  “This means that he (Dr. Murry) has become the candidate of the Nagas,” he maintained.  “He is a capable leader,” the Advisor vouched, appealing the people to elect him to speak for Naga rights and development. “We have to help him win by record margin,” he added.
‘No one should
mislead public’
Nagaland’s CAWD & Taxes Advisor Kudecho Khamo said that false propagandas, criticisms and video of atrocities in India are being used against BJP. “Remember and make it clear that there is no BJP candidate here except NDPP. Therefore, no one should mislead the public,” he said.
He said that the NDPP-led PDA government led by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio is defending the people rights, land, culture and religion.
He also appealed all the ranks and files of the NDPP to rededicate themselves to the principles and policies of the party and the government. Describing Dr Murry as seasoned leader, highly educated, humble and God fearing man, Khamo appealed the people to work hard to ensure his victory with a big margin.
‘Nagaland a beacon of
unity and peace’
“We are here to rally behind a visionary, and a refined leader who embodies the aspirations of our people: Dr. Chumben Murry, the consensus candidate of the PDA,” said MLA Jwenga Seb.
Today, we stand united, not just as members of different political parties, but as citizens who envision a future marked by stability, peace, and development for our beloved state and country, he said.

“This unity is a testament to our collective resolve to support a candidate who promises to bring about transformative change,” Seb maintained.

This election campaign is a confluence of unity and purpose, supported by 60 elected members of the 14th NLA, all rallying behind a single candidate, he said, terming it a “unprecedented show of solidarity” clearly indicating the collective desire for a future defined by harmony and progress.
