Screenplay writing training in Kohima concludes

Kohima, November 25 (MExN): The 10-day screenplay writing training conducted by the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) in collaboration with the Department of Information & Public Relations concluded at the Directorate of Information & Public Relations, Kohima on November 25.

Speaking at the valedictory programme, Prof Sudipto Acharyya, the resource person of the training, expressed his happiness at the progress made by the trainees. He hoped that the trainees will continue to work on their ideas and turn it into films in the future, stated a DIPR report. 

One of the trainees stated that she learnt many new things through the training and hopes to use the knowledge in her everyday life. She added that more young people will take up trainings offered by FTII and DIPR. 

Joint Director, IPR, Asangla Imsong in her remark thanked the FTII for coming up with training under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. She extended appreciation to the resource person, Sudipto Acharyya and all the trainees for making the training a success. Imsong stated that it was a great privilege for the trainees to be able to attend such a training conducted by FTII and added that FTII in collaboration with IPR will be conducting more trainings in the days to come.
