As part of National Integration tour, 47 students from Sainik School Satara visited Kohima. The students today visited Kohima War Cemetery and paid homage to the valiant souls who laid down their lives during World War II.
Immersing further into the spirit of camaraderie, the group engaged in a compelling exhibition organized by the Assam Rifles at Kohima Garrison.

The essence of unity and integration was further epitomized through interactive sessions and group activities, reinforcing the significance of solidarity in our diverse nation.

A total of 47 Cadets (37 boys and 10 girls) of Sainik School Satara, Maharashtra visited Sainik School Punglwa, Nagaland on an educational and motivational tour on April 7, a press release from PRO & spokesperson, Ministry of Defence informed. The students witnessed the training and administrative facilities at the Sainik School and interacted with the Principal, staff and cadets of the school. The cadets engaged in a friendly Tug-of-War competition. Visit to an Assam Rifles Battalion at Ghaspani gave an insight of a battalion routine. Cadets got an opportunity to learn about culture and tradition of Nagaland. Mementos and souvenirs were also exchanged.

A motivational lecture resonated deeply with the participants, igniting sparks of inspiration and fostering a sense of responsibility towards the nation.

Highlighting the significance of this tour in fostering national integration, Inspector General Assam Rifles North, Maj Gen Manish Kumar, SM, interacted with the students, emphasizing the importance of unity in diversity.
He inspired the students to embrace their role as ambassadors of harmony and cohesion.
